What to do about a suspicious email
- Don't click suspicious links or open unexpected attachments.
- Don't reply with passwords, verification codes, payment information or sensitive personal information.
- Display names and sender information can be spoofed.
- Check the actual sender address/domain carefully.
- If the message claims to represent an organization, contact that organization through independently verified contact information rather than links or contact information in the email.
- Report suspicious emails to ScamCallerCheck to help other users.
